I just learned of Johns passing. My deepest sympathy to all his family & friends. John and my mother were married several years ago. The wedding was beautiful much like the love they had for one another. I remember walking my mother down the aisle and seeing how his face just lit up. He never wanted to replace our dad but instead became our friend. Upon moving into my first apartment John purchased me a t.v and stereo. He wanted

Just me :( No pictures with John that I can find

John, I truly truly love You. I have since riding piggy back as a kid.... and then even more when we met up again as adults. Thank you for reading my daughter "Superfudge".... for waking up at 3:30 am quite a few times because some man broke my heart.... thank you for making me truly believe it was his loss and he would spend the rest of his days filled with a tornado of an obsessive remorse without peace. You

John and I had some wonderful times together together. His death has affected me in a way that I almost can't explain. I just talked to John recently and we talked about me visiting. A few years ago John and I went on a road trip to Kentucky. We were at the Kentucky Derby buying tickets. It was raining very bad and John didn't want me to get sick or cold and he gave me his Jacket. It was a

John was about two years old the first time I met him. A few years later, we vacationed together at the beach. I remember the little blond-haired boy with glasses, hopping around in the water with a bucket and picking up scallops. He was so cute, and such a sweet kid. As John grew into a man, he never lost his sweet spirit and kindness for others. The time John spent in Virginia, he “re-done” our home, and what a

Although I lost touch with John many years ago, I have fond memories of John. I was in the Northrop High School class of 83. My sympathies to the family & loved ones as you mourn this loss. Too young, so sad. God Bless, Cindy

So sad to hear of this. Such a friendly and kind-hearted soul. I am so sorry and send all of my prayers to your dear family. You were like another little brother to me.

John, Over our many conversations in the past few weeks, it never entered my mind that one of those might be the last time i talk to you. I am just very thankful that we ended each call with an " I loved you" before hanging up. We had some wonderful times together and i always enjoyed our heartfelt conversations. I am so sorry that i can't be there for your service tomorrow but i am there in spirit. I know i will see you in heaven one day and until then...goodbye, sweet nephew....I love you!!!

John was the little brother I never had. I met him when he was 13! Throughout the course of his life, John demonstrated his love of nature, animals, and most of all, his family. Boy, oh boy, did he have a GREEN THUMB too! The gardens and flower beds he lovingly tended to, were a delight to both the eye and stomach :) Without children of his own, John looked upon Courtney, Jonathan, Bethany, Ben, and James, his nieces and

I send my love and prayers to Jean and the rest of the family. John and I have been great friends for nearly 15 years. I was sickened and very sad to hear of John's passing. In the last two weeks, I heard from him several times. He often told me, "Someday, I'm going to pay you back for all you've done for me." Of course, he owed me nothing, but he always let me know how much he valued

Dear Spencer Family,

There are few things more difficult than dealing with the loss of a loved one. We, along with our staff, are honored and humbled that you have chosen our family to care for your family during this time. It is our hope that we have been able, in some small way, to lighten your burden and give proper reverence to a life lived. Please let us know if we can be of further service.

Respectfully,
