Jo Anne Wolf Moehl age 75, passed away on January 9, 2010. She was a kind sincere women whose smile touched many. Mrs. Moehl was born January 20, 1934 in Iowa City, Iowa to the late Clark and Helen (Schiele) Wolf. Jo Anne and Thomas Moehl have been married for 52 years and he survives. Jo Anne earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Textiles while attending Iowa State in Ames, Iowa. Jo Anne was a Master Gardener and a member of the Indiana Forestry Association and a member of Our Lady Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. To her family, which always came first, she was an excellent cook and a proud grandmother known to her grandchildren as "Moma". Jo Anne enjoyed crafts such as quilting, knitting, and was an extordinary seamstress. Jo Anne is survived by her devoted husband, Thomas; four loving children; Timothy (Heather) Moehl of Indianapolis, John (Amy) Moehl of Chesterton, IN, Lisa (Richard Schneider) Hartman of Fishers, IN and Lynn (Eric) Marshall of Muncie, IN. Four grandchildren survive, Joe Hartman, Kamryn, Jacklyn and Michael Moehl. Also surviving Jo Anne are her four siblings, Charles (Janet) Wolf of West Liberty, IA, Marie (Richard) Anderson of West Branch, IA, Wayne (Arleda) Wolf of West Liberty, IA and Helen Thompson of Stephenville, TX. Jo Anne s sister, Eleanor, precedes her in death. Funeral Mass will held on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Our Lady of Carmel Catholic Church, 14508 Oakridge Rd., Carmel, Carmel, IN, at 11:00 a.m. Calling will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 from 4-8 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Carmel Funeral Center, 325 E. Carmel Drive, Carmel, IN. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
